G27i 2026: Affordable Xiaomi Gaming Monitor Launches Internationally With Competitive Price

Xiaomi has begun the international rollout of its new 27-inch Gaming Monitor G27i 2026, expanding availability beyond its initial markets. Positioned as a budget-friendly option for gamers, the new model builds on the 2025 version with several notable upgrades while maintaining a competitive price point of around $150 at current exchange rates.

The Gaming Monitor G27i 2026 features a familiar design with relatively slim bezels on three sides, now paired with a redesigned stand and a slightly more refined overall look. It follows the recent release of Xiaomi’s higher-end Mini LED Gaming Monitor G Pro 27Qi 2026, though the G27i targets a more affordable segment. Unlike the Mini LED model, which can reach peak brightness levels of up to 2,000 nits in small areas, the G27i 2026 delivers a full-panel brightness of approximately 400 nits.

This represents a significant improvement over the 2025 G27i, which was limited to around 250 nits. Another key upgrade is the refresh rate, which has increased from 165 Hz to 200 Hz, offering smoother motion for fast-paced gaming. Despite these enhancements, the monitor retains several core specifications from its predecessor, including a 1 ms gray-to-gray (GtG) response time and a native Full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels.

In terms of connectivity, Xiaomi has kept the same port selection. The Gaming Monitor G27i 2026 includes a DisplayPort 1.4 connection, an HDMI 2.0 port, and a 3.5 mm audio jack, with no USB hub or additional inputs.

Pricing varies by region. In Singapore, the monitor is available for SGD 199 (approximately $156), up from SGD 159 for last year’s model. In the UK, at least one retailer is listing the monitor for around £184, including VAT (roughly $251). Xiaomi has not yet announced availability timelines for other international markets. Xiaomi also recently released a 34-inch gaming monitor, but so far, we have no word on international availability for that one.
