In the world of free, ad-supported streaming, Pluto TV is one of the best apps out there, offering a wide range of free TV channels and on-demand content. If you’re looking to cut down on your streaming bill, it’s well worth a look — and to kick off 2026, one of the most iconic reality TV shows is about to become available on the service for free.
Pluto TV has announced that all 49 seasons of the reality competition series Survivor will be available to stream for free with ads starting Jan. 24 at 5:15 pm ET / 2:15 pm PT (via CNET).
There will be two ways to watch Survivor on Pluto TV. The first is a dedicated 24/7 Survivor channel that will stream every episode in chronological order. The second option is on-demand streaming on Pluto TV, where you can watch any episode you want from its 49 seasons. This will likely be the easier route if you want to catch up on a specific season you missed or jump into the latest one.
Survivor first aired in the US in 2000, and since then it has racked up 49 seasons and more than 700 episodes, so that’s a massive amount of content about to land on Pluto TV for free. The timing is no accident, either, as all of this arrives on Pluto TV ahead of the show’s 50th season, which premieres on CBS on Feb. 25.

Pluto TV has hundreds of free channels
You can watch for free online or through the Pluto TV app
If Survivor doesn’t pique your interest, Pluto TV has tons of other channels you can check out on the service, all of which are free and supported by ads. One of my favorite channels is The Next Generation, a 24/7 channel dedicated to Star Trek: The Next Generation, arguably the best Star Trek series.
To watch any of Pluto TV’s channels and on-demand content, and Survivor starting on Jan 24, you can visit Pluto TV’s website or download the app on your phone, tablet, or smart TV.
Of course, Pluto TV isn’t the only free ad-supported streaming app out there, either. Other options include The Roku Channel, Plex, Google TV Freeplay, MyFree DirecTV, Tubi, and Fubo. So if you don’t want to spend money on streaming, these services are a great way to watch tons of TV shows and movies for free, though you’ll have to deal with ads on all of them.
