TCL Unveils High-Performance Monitors Featuring 240Hz OLED+ And 1,040Hz Mini LED Panels

During a recent launch event, TCL expanded its display portfolio with two high-performance monitors: the 32X3A OLED+ and the 27P2A Ultra. These models target premium image quality and professional esports, respectively, introducing advanced “Dual Mode” capabilities to the consumer market.

The TCL 32X3A: 4K OLED+ Versatility

The 32X3A features a 31.5-inch OLED+ panel, which TCL describes as a multi-layer OLED light source integrated with proprietary image optimization. This hardware configuration allows for an ultra-slim profile of just 6.4 mm.

Key technical specifications include:

• Resolution and Speed: Native 4K at 240Hz.

• Dual Mode Functionality: Allows users to switch to Full HD resolution at 480Hz for faster gameplay.

• Audio and Design: Equipped with a sound system developed by Bang & Olufsen and a “Matrix” pixel arrangement designed to improve text clarity.

• Aesthetics: A minimalist metal build complemented by a rear RGB lighting ring.

The TCL 27P2A Ultra: Extreme Refresh Rates

Designed for the competitive esports sector, the 27P2A Ultra utilizes Mini LED technology to achieve industry-leading speeds. It is among the first monitors globally to offer a refresh rate mode exceeding 1,000Hz.

Key performance features include:

• Standard Mode: Quad HD resolution at 550Hz.

• Extreme Mode: 720p resolution at a specialized 1,040Hz refresh rate.

• Response Time: 1ms, supported by “HFS Shoot” technology and AI-driven contrast adjustments to enhance visibility in dark in-game environments.

Pricing and Availability

The TCL 32X3A is launching first in China at a suggested retail price of 5,999 yuan (~$826). TCL has not yet released pricing for the 27P2A Ultra, nor has it confirmed dates for a potential global rollout of either model.
