Vivo Y51 Pro Launched With 7,200mAh Battery, Dimensity 7360 Turbo And 120Hz Display

Vivo has officially introduced the vivo Y51 Pro after several leaks and a period of anticipation. The new smartphone focuses on long battery life and solid performance within its price segment.

In terms of design, the device features a slightly raised rear camera module that houses two lenses. The manufacturer also highlights the phone’s durability, noting that it carries both IP68 and IP69 certifications, which indicate resistance to dust, water, and potential drops.

The display is a 6.75-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution (1570 × 720) and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, designed to deliver smoother scrolling and animations.

For performance, the vivo Y51 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo platform. The chipset is paired with 8 GB of RAM and offers 128 GB or 256 GB of internal storage.

Connectivity features include 5G support, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.4. The fingerprint reader is integrated into the power button, providing quick biometric authentication.

The camera system includes a 50-megapixel main rear sensor accompanied by a 2-megapixel secondary sensor, while the front-facing camera has 8 megapixels.

One of the most notable features is the 7,200 mAh battery, which supports 44 W wired fast charging. The device runs Android 16 out of the box with OriginOS 6.

The software also incorporates several artificial intelligence features, including Gemini as a digital assistant, Circle to Search, AI-based object removal in photos, and other smart tools.

Price and availability

The vivo Y51 Pro has launched in India in red and gold color options.

At the moment, there is no confirmation of availability in other markets, such as the U.S.
