Xiaomi Auto has confirmed that the next generation of the SU7 will officially launch in April 2026. The Chinese tech giant aims to solidify the sedan’s position as a “technology definer” in the competitive electric vehicle (EV) market. This updated version, arriving roughly two years after the original model’s debut, features a revised pricing structure, refined aesthetics, and significant technical upgrades.

Record-Breaking Range and Charging

One of the most notable improvements for the 2026 model year is the increased range. The flagship Pro variant is now capable of reaching 902 km (approx. 560 miles) under the CLTC cycle. Additionally, the lineup transitions to a higher-voltage architecture, with the Max version utilizing an 897V platform that allows it to recover up to 670 km (approx. 416 miles) of range in just 15 minutes of charging.

Design and Smart Features

While the overall silhouette remains consistent, Xiaomi has introduced several refinements:

• Aesthetics: A new “Cream Beige” interior color option joins the catalog, accompanied by updated wheel designs and minor aerodynamic adjustments to the headlights.

• Standardized Tech: High-end sensors, including LiDAR and 4D millimeter-wave radar, are now standard across all trims.

• Processing Power: The vehicle’s assisted-driving computing power has seen a massive leap, reaching 700 TOPS (up from the previous 508 TOPS) to support the advanced Xiaomi HAD driving system.

The 2026 lineup arrives with a price increase to reflect the upgraded hardware. The three available versions are priced as follows:

• Standard: 229,900 yuan (~ $33,260)

• Pro: 259,900 yuan (~$37,600)

• Max: 309,900 yuan (~$44,830)
